Management and governance

Our commitment to strong governance goes beyond the expectations of Parliament, the Government of Canada, and depositors. We review and update our practices to encourage innovation, ensure ethical behaviour, and manage risk. We consult with experts in Canada and around the world to stay forward-thinking.

Our governance plans guide how we are structured. It defines how our governing and operational groups work together to support our values, goals, and plans for success.

We follow the rules and guidelines for Crown corporations set by the Treasury Board Secretariat of Canada and by the Privy Counsel Office.
